Basic Body Language And Its Lessons

Body language, as we all know is gaining knowledge from the postures of somebody’s body. Whether we are feeling happy, sad, or anxious, can all be told by way of body language? Body language has been a subject of immense research over the years. This is one subject wherein you can never get enough information.

Body language is something that says everything about our thoughts at any given point in time, so on the exterior we may try to show something else, but our body language will say it all.

Some lessons in body language would be as follows:

Crossing indicates your disinterest and discomfort
Whilst talking to somebody if you notice him crossing his arms, that indicates that he is not comfortable divulging certain information to you. Even in classes, if a student sits with his legs or arms crossed, that marks an indication that he is not interested in the lecture and that he is not open to receiving information that is being given.

Your handshakes tell a lot about you
Handshakes also go on to tell a lot about a person’s interest or disinterest in you. If a person shakes his hand loosely with you that marks disinterest whereas a very warm handshake would mean that the other person is indeed very thrilled and excited to meet you.

What shows that you are disturbed?
If a person is biting his lips or twirling her hair, blinking his or her eyes, all that go on to indicate a distressed state of mind.

Get to know of someone is deceiving you
Even if a person is not able to make an eye contact while speaking to you, it marks a state of threat and perhaps even a lie. A person who is making a good eye contact with you whilst speaking, states a heightened level of confidence.

Aggression in your body language
Aggressive and rash body language may indicate that a person has little to contribute in terms of content in a meeting and hence he is masking behind that kind of a behavior.

Smile makes you look more beautiful
A smile or lack of it also goes on to tell a lot about a person. A person who is friendly and comfortable in the environment will always wear a smile as compared to the one who is looking grumpy.

If you are happy and you know it Tap your feet!
If a person is sprinting lightly on his toes, you can make out that he is happy as compared to a person who is walking with his heads down and walking slowly. One moves around tapping and jumping only when they are blissfully happy or tension free.

Get to know if a person is egoistic or not?
Whether or not a person is arrogant can also be gauged from his body language. If a person is walking with their chest pushed forward and swaying arms, you can make out that he is egoistic and arrogant.

Your attitude reflects your confidence
If a person adjusts his clothing before addressing people, then it speaks volumes of his confidence level.

Body language is an art that can never be completely mastered for the purpose of masking, but learning what different postures tell us, about our state of mind, is indeed very interesting.

Teach Kids To Be Eco Friendly

Global warming is a natural area of concern for our environment at present. Thus at such times the skill of environmental awareness should be possessed by the children. The methods should first be practiced by you as an adult and then gradually the children would learn by monitoring as well as observing these actions. Children love to point out the mistakes committed by an adult and then correct them. As a result the learning cycle would be completed.

The society of today has almost turned apathetic to their surroundings. Most of the youngsters now days have a disorder known as the nature deficit but your kids can be made eco-friendly and also increase their love for our mother earth if some small steps are taken by you early.

Following are some of the eco friendly steps that would prove to be helpful in guiding our children towards environment protection and which can also save our mother earth.

Recycle
  • Specific places should be set up at homes to gather glass, plastic as well as newspapers. These materials should be accumulated by your children and can be taken to the nearby recycling shop.
  • If there is scrap around your place such as pieces of plastic then you can hand such things over to your kids and ask them to play some fun games sticking together those pieces.
  • A grocery bag that has been reused should be handed over to the child to use in schools. As a result of this their trash would be carried around by them the whole day.
  • Whenever you go out on a trip and make use of some plastic materials, recycling bins are almost impossible to find. You can yourself recycle such things by bringing them back home and reusing them.
  • Kids should be asked to help their parents in storing the plastic bags that are given by the stores. They can be reused later. Students as well as parents should be asked to use recyclable items for the purpose of educational projects. Paper collage made out of a magazine can prove to be quite helpful in instilling in our kids some green values.
  • Children should be given recycled printouts if they want to do some fun drawing.
  • Instead of making use of paper towels, kids should be instructed to use hand towels in schools. This provides an opportunity to the child on cutting on the trash that has been produced by them.
Reduce
  • Resources such as water and energy are important and children should be taught the importance of conserving them. The water in your sink should not be allowed to run uselessly. Kids can help their parents in building a collection system for rain water so that rainfall can be captured.
  • If there is something that you have to buy from a store, ask the store guys not to put the items in plastic bags. Allow your kids to carry the items back home with you if they are small.
  • Children should be taught to switch the lights off as well as the electrical appliances whenever they are not to be used. Set an example for your kids by sitting together in a single room. This would help save the electricity as well.
  • Such small steps taken by you can create a huge impact on our children. Kids would learn to reside in harmony on our mother earth and would also learn to maintain its natural beauty. Each effort that we make whether it is small or big would contribute towards creating a healthier environment.

How To Deal With Bed Wetting

Bed-wetting is a problem that can worry the child and parents alike. Parents become concerned and the child suffers from guilt or embarrassment. It might happen when the child is very much exhausted or when he feels insecure. However, occasionally this turns to be a regular problem.

The nature of the problem

Bed wetting is also termed as enuresis. It occurs when a child sleeps. It may be regular phenomena, or may be occasional. This problem is more predominant among the boy child rather than girls. Doctors say that bed wetting is a problem that has its root in some behavioural disorder of the child. May be, the child feels insecure or not loved by his parents; it may also come from some traumatic experience that has been deeply embedded in his mind.

Bed-wetting and parental attitude

When a six or seven year old boy or girl wets the bed in the night, he or she normally faces abuse from the parents and maid servant. Yelling on the child is a common reaction from the mothers. However this does not solve the problem; rather the problem tends to aggravate, as the child feels all the more insecure and upset.

The parents should change their attitude to their child when he or she suffers from this problem. They should try to understand the shame and pain their child has to go through, due to this problem. He might feel abandoned and at a loss, not knowing what to do for his fault committed without his knowing. Sometimes, the parents overreact to wake up in the night or even wake up the child to check if he needs to go to the bathroom. Sometimes parents seem to forget that the child’s sleep should not be disturbed. Parents should be patient in dealing with this problem of their child. A good parental attitude often has been seen to be the ultimate remedy for bed wetting.

The common causes of the problem of bed wetting

The growth of controlling faculty in children usually takes time. The control of bladder function and production of urine in the night is not very well developed in the children. Until the age of three years, it does not develop at all. It takes time to develop this controlling faculty, and for some children this development process is particularly late. Hence, bed-wetting is a common pediatric problem until your child reaches seven or eight years of age. There is also delay in developing the usual tracks in the brain that controls the bladder function.

Another cause of bed wetting is a bladder that is not fully developed in the children. Hence the bladder being not adequately large, it cannot contain the urine that is produced in the nighttime.

Bedwetting also happens if the child sleeps very deep and so unaware that he can not know when his bladder is full.

Stress in the school or playground and also fear may cause bed wetting in the night. It can happen when the child is exposed to a new environment where she may feel inadequate or upset.

Sometimes, sibling rivalry also gives rise to the problem of bed wetting. In that case parents should try to assuage the emotional stress of the child.

Hormonal imbalance in the child can also be the cause for bed wetting. This happens if an anti-diuretic hormone is not produced in the body of your child.

Apart from these more familiar causes, an infection in the urinary tract can also lead to the bed wetting problem. Sometimes bed wetting is a symptom of diabetes in the child. Apart from this, there may be some genetic factor that is responsible for bed wetting by the child.

Bed wetting affects most of the children

Even though parents start worrying when their child wets the bed in the night, it is a common pediatric problem in all countries. It is a more widespread problem than people usually think. According to a statistics, about 15 percent of the seven year old children and 20 percent of ten year old children suffer from this problem of bed wetting in the night.

Coping with bed wetting

Parents should not punish or blame the child for bed wetting. They can place a rubber-cloth, or some waterproof material below the bed sheet of the child. They should give emotional support and consolation to help the child feel secure. Assurance from the parents will help the child to cope with the problem, until it leaves him. For most of the children, bed wetting normally leaves on its own. However, until it stops, it may be a source of stress and discomfort for both the child and the parents.

Parents should assure the child with a positive gesture. The child needs to know that it is part and parcel of the process of growing up. It will leave him as he grows up. You can help your child by reminding him of going to the bathroom immediately before he goes to the bed. Make the child drink more water in the daytime than in the night.

The treatment of bed wetting

As bed wetting is a common pediatric issue and may be caused due to delayed development of the controlling faculty in the child, the parents should not worry much till the child reaches seven years of age. Doctors usually do not start treatment before your child reaches seven years of age. Moreover, most of the available medical treatments do not cure bed-wetting. They only provide a temporary relief and sometimes the problem recurs after a certain period of time, if the root cause is more mental than physical.

However, in most of the instances, bed-wetting is seen to be cured without treatment. If the problem persists after your child is seven or eight years of age, then you may visit a doctor. Also, if bed wetting is started abruptly you must seek medical guidance. If you notice some other unusual symptoms in your child, like a burning sensation while urinating or frequent urge to urinate, take your child to a doctor who may check for any infection. You may also consider taking your child for counseling, if bed wetting is a persistent problem.

Fancy Dress Ideas For Preschoolers

Almost every school organizes various co-curricular activities for students. These activities help the children to open up and be participative. Co-curricular activities like dance competition, singing competition, fancy dress etc help the children to know their hidden talents as well as increase their self confidence.

Many schools start such competitions during the preschool only such that the child gets the maximum exposure and benefit. Children these days are undoubtedly more advanced and efficient in every way. Out of all the activities fancy dress competitions give the children a chance to portray their favourite characters or something that has impressed them that they want to share it with everyone. Parents however find it a little difficult to come up with different themes and ideas for such competitions.

Children love to dream and fancy dress competitions are a good way to make their dream come true for some time. They can just be anything that they have ever wished to become. Every child wishes to participate in the fancy dress competition and look different and better than others. They can take help from the following ideas:

FOR BOYS

Dress them up like their favourite character from nursery rhymes or stories:
You can dress your child like his favourite character from any of the stories or poems that he has studied. They can dress up like the prince who saved snow-white or Humpty dumpty as it would be very innovative and comical as well.

Choose characters from Comic books:
Almost every boy dreamt to become a superman, Spiderman or ironman has at some point in his life. You can dress your child like any of these characters and let their dream come true of conquering the world for some time.

Get Inspired from Gods and Goddess:
If your child has faith in God or you want your child to know more about mythology then nothing can be better than dressing him up like a mythological heroes. No one can play these roles better as with the help of their innocence small children can pull off these roles brilliantly.

Animals and Birds:
Your child can get inspired by the endangered animals and play their character. They can take up issues like tigers, lions, and deer etc which due to uncontrollable hunting have become endangered. Seeing children taking up such issues can provoke the adults too.

Make him a speaking tree:
Another innovative idea would be to dress your child like a tree. Let the tree speak and ask for help from everyone. Taking up environment concerning issues would make your child aware of such things and it would impress and inspire others too.

FOR GIRLS

Fancy dress competitions are all about fun and dressing your child in a character of what he/she aspires to become or find amusing. There are many ideas as well to dress your little sylph like a character or entity she would love to imitate.

Vegetable or Fruit:
Dressing your little girl in a vegetable or fruit attire is quite simple and quick way to dress your child. You can dress her up like a mushroom, potato, tomato etc. Much more than the child’s effort the mother needs to add a little of their own creative element in this. You can even attach a head stalk in a cap in case you dress her like a brinjal, chilli etc. it would add much more colour to the costume. Make her learn and short and simple rhyme.

Renowned Characters:
Well if you like your daughter to become like one of those famous ladies that people look up to then there is still time for her to actually be like one of them but you can still fulfil your desires by dressing her up that way.

Her Ambition:
The main idea behind the concept of fancy dress is to let your child get into the shoes that depicts her personality. If your girl wants to be a doctor, news reporter, nurse, engineer, model, choreographer, air-hostess dress then dress her that way. Not only will she look joyful but will be able to carry that dress confidently.

Dancer or Fairy:
Women are women! How can we ever deprive her of some innate features like dressing up, being fashionable, wearing designer dresses and accessories? Well if your daughter possesses any of these characteristics, and then allow her to follow what she loves doing from her heart. You dress her up like an angel in which she finds herself beautiful.

Spreading Awareness:
Environment degradation is a point of concern for both government and people. You can also give in a bit through your daughter. Make her look like a “leafless tree”, a “dustbin” with a caption of “use me”, a “crying earth” etc. You can even spread awareness with the help of a fun element in it.

I Am the Man:
There’s no obligation to give your girl a typical feminine look. If she wants to dress up like one of those male characters then why not? You can improvise that male look and give a feminine touch in that like a lady superman or batman, or a lady cricketer etc.

Thus by using any of the above stated ideas you can dress your child in such a way that make him stand different from others. We do not assure you a first prize on these characters but we definitely assure you that your child will win hearts and appreciation of everyone present in the event.

Dear friends if you have any other ideas kindly leave it in comment box and also if you like this take a moment to share with your friends circles.

Tips To Deal With Child Behavior Problem

Some parents consider physical punishment as the most appropriate style for behavior correction. But it cannot teach him the discipline lesson and how to stay calm in worst situation.

Here are some behavior correction tips for the parents that are very effective and give good results.
  • Stop overprotecting your baby and try to solve out the issue as soon as it could be done. Don’t forget to appreciate your baby when he shows good behavior.
  • Your child deserves your love and affection. Whenever he feels sad or alone you should touch your baby affectionately.
  • Every child has its own individual identity. Some babies are shy, other are confident. But you cannot force your baby for changing his basic nature. Parents should always accept and appreciate their kids as they are.
  • You should not force your baby for performing some activity until he is not ready for starting some act by himself.
  • If your baby is good in completing any task then don’t forget to offer some incentives. Incentives encourage him for performing equally good in the future.
  • If your baby is rude then try to know the reason for his rude behavior. Some parents start punishing their kids without knowing the main reason for his rude behavior. Punishment can make him rude more instead of solving out the issue. You should be calm and handle the situation wisely.
  • Make a list of routine tasks and also assign some reward and punishment for each task. Now your baby becomes more responsible in completing his task as he knows he is going to get some reward for it.
  • You should never criticize your toddler in front of others for his bad behavior. Your reaction can impact your child in a negative style.
  • If your child is showing bad behavior then never declare your kid as a bad child. You should teach him how to correct his behavior for becoming better.
  • You should ask your baby for taking some decision. Also make him realize that he is equally important in your family. When you are going for shopping don’t forget to ask your child his likes and dislikes.
  • Sometimes it becomes necessary to behave like friends instead of parents. Spend some healthy time with your baby daily and share your experience with your child. Also ask him to explain his daily routine in front of you. In this way, you are able to establish good bonding with your child.
  • Also make your child familiar with rituals and family routines. This is a good habit to adjust according to family trend.
  • Whenever you prepare a rule list for your baby, ask him for some good changes or modifications. If he does not agree at some point then don’t argue with him and make slight modifications for his satisfaction.
  • You should teach your baby how to calm down and how to manage the anger in difficult situations.
  • If your child is aggressive then you don’t have to tolerate his aggressive behavior. Make him clear that aggressive behavior will not be acceptable at any cost.
Dear friends if you like this kindly take a moment to share with your friends circles also.

How To Handle Lying Child

Oftentimes, it’s very common to see children telling small lies on various matters. The obvious truth is that most children have the tendency to tell lies but it takes a responsible parent or guardian to correct them. Telling lies is never part of children lives as some people posit. It all depends on the kind of training the children are given especially from home. If you're a parent and you have a child that tells lies often, there are certain steps you can take to address such occurrences. Let’s examine them.

Don’t Flare up in Anger Immediately
When your child tells a lie, you don’t need to flare up in anger right in front of him. You simply hold your temper and ponder on the reason for such behaviour. You need to weight the lie and find out why your child has uttered it. This helps you to know the right step to take in correcting the child later on.

Correct the Child Calmly
When you must discovered the reason behind such ugly behaviour, the next thing to do is to call the child by your side and correct him or her calmly. You need to explain to him the dangers of such attitudes and the right steps to take when next he or she is faced with such a situation. This helps the child in learning responsible behaviours.

Be a Role Model
Children copy their parents a lot. If you’re given to telling lies before your child, he or she is likely to imbibe the ugly attitude. In most cases, attitudes learnt from parents are very difficult to stop. Children believe in their parents and hence will always like to imitate them. If you’re a parent, you must never tell lies in front of your child. You need to be a role model of truthfulness. This helps the child to imbibe the right attitude.

Take Corrective Measures
If your child is in the constant habit of lying, make sure you take punitive measures at the right time. After correcting him or her for some time, and the ugly behaviour continues, you need to introduce little punitive measures to nip the ugly habit in the bud. You can deny the child some little pleasures just to correct the ugly habit.

In all, make sure you encourage the child whenever he tells the truth. Always take time to teach the child the importance of saying the truth always. You can always use biblical examples to drive home your point.

Tips for Back to School Success

Parents play a critical role in their child’s success. Here are the tips  how to help your child set and achieve goals for the new school year.

Set 30, 60 and 90-day goals
With your child. What's most important for the first 30 days? Ask your child what they plan to accomplish and help them make a plan to get there. Creating a regular routine with time for homework, chores, outside activities and free time is critical. Help your child tweak their schedule for the best way to spend their time. At the end of the first 30 days, review what worked and what didn't, and then discuss the 60 and 90-day goals.

Write it down. Don't just talk about goals.
Have your child write them down. The act of writing down goals reinforces the message. According to John Bishop, author of the workbook, Goal Setting for Students®, "There are two great benefits to writing down goals. First, it is implanting in their minds a gentle, yet important, message that they are responsible for their day. Secondly, this exercise teaches them that they cannot simply blame others for their lack of effort."

Watch your language.
How do you talk about school with your child? Do you praise their teachers and tell your child they can do it? Or do you complain about how hard it is and that the teacher is expecting too much? Avoid "bummer words" like no, can't, won't, never, maybe, and if. Focus on motivating words like yes, can and will.

Avoid excuses.
Teach your child the importance of taking responsibility and minimizing excuses. Help them create a plan for big projects, breaking them down into manageable pieces with deadlines for each piece. Avoid a last-minute crisis by planning ahead and having supplies on hand. Bishop says, "Don't find fault. Find a solution."

Set up rewards that fit your family.
As a family, discuss the best ways to recognize your successes. Be sure to recognize effort not just results. Want to encourage reading? Create a reading log, and go bowling or go for ice cream once you've reached a certain amount of reading time. Mini-rewards for regular effort can often be more effective than one large reward for the entire school year.

Model goal-setting.
What are your goals for the next month and the remainder of the year? Track them - and show your child how you do it. Discuss with them where you are and what obstacles you have overcome. This discussion can easily lead into their goals as a student.

Eat together.
Take time to sit down together as a family, and give each member the opportunity to talk about what's working and what's not working. Strategize solutions - with the TV turned off. A common reason families don't eat dinner together is conflicting schedules so if the dinner hour doesn't work for you, consider a family breakfast. Even checking in for 15 minutes over cereal can provide a much-needed time to connect.

With a few simple steps, parents can get their children off to a good start for the school year ahead.

Six Basic Needs of Children

There are six basic needs of the children that should be fulfilled at the right time. These needs continue for the life time. Everyone tries his level best for completing these basic needs. Also teach your kid how to become more responsible and confident in life. This is a step by step process in which you should start from the first level. It is very difficult to fulfill the second need if first need is not completed. This is a life time process and it may take your complete life for reaching the highest level. Make your child independent and teach him how to set goals in life and how to complete those goals.

Level 1 - Basic body needs of the kid
You should accept your child unconditionally. Every human being has different body structure and capabilities. But number of body needs are common like fresh air, nutritious food and regular sleep. You could encourage your child positively. They should feel confident about their sexuality and behavior. Also teach them real value of life. Make them more responsible in their personal life. Babies think in a different way. You should try to understand their behavior in the same manner.

Also teach your child healthy and clean habits. Make your child comfortable and relaxed if he is stressed or depressed. Make exercise as the daily routine of your life. This is the best style of maintaining physical fitness. Also properly guide him about sex and sexuality. Your child should feel proud about himself. Don’t scold your kid for small mistakes. It will make him under estimate and he will feel ashamed about himself.

Level 2 – Make your child safe and secure
Kids are completely dependant on the parents. It is their duty to give them a safe homely environment. They also expect presence of their parents at the home. Only parents can make them brave and confident in their personal life. The training starts from an early age. Children imitate the actions of the parents. You should be loving and respectful for everyone. Your angry nature can be dangerous for their future. Every child makes mistakes. Now this is your duty how you will handle those mistakes. You should be calm and patient. Use open communication language with your kid.

Give emotional support to your child whenever he required. You should think about your kid first after that you can think about yourself also. Promise a safe and pleasing environment for your kid where he can practice healthy habits. Parents should also learn how to control the critical and worst situations.

Level 3 – Express Affection for your child
Parents should make their child realized that how much they are special for them. Don’t forget to express your affection for your child. This is the way to acknowledge your kid how much they are loved by the parents. All parents are caring and loving but some of them are not able to express their feeling in the right way. Also spend good time with your kid and teach him reading and writing. Don’t forget that child learn everything from the parents. Only parents can set examples for their babies. So you should be careful about your response with others in front of your child.

Affection is a nice thinking that makes a strong bond among the family members. Kids also get a healthy support from the family and they are able to handle disappointments easily. They become stronger and more confident in life. Make your child enough capable to deal with difficult emotions in life.

Level 4 – Needs for Self Esteem
Children demand unconditional and true love from the parents. Children want to realize that they are normal like other kids. You have accepted him with his behavior and actions. Don’t make him feel badly for his weakness or negativity. Help him to be competent and respectful for others. Assign small tasks to the child and encourage him to complete those tasks. Once he has completed his assigned work then you should praise him so that he can continue the same behavior in his future. Make your child self disciplined and more responsible. These small things are necessary to keep in mind for a bright future of your kid.

Also make him a good decision maker in his life. Give him various options and ask to choose the best one. In this way, his decision making capability will improve. Teach him the value of relationships and good behavior in personal life.

Level 5 – Needs for good understanding and knowledge
If you want to see your child knowledgeable and successful then he must have the good understanding and positive experience in life. These are the essentials elements for a healthy and successful life. Bless your kid with reward for his good behavior. Assign responsible tasks to your child regularly. Babies learn different experiences from schools, television, relatives and friends. You should also take your child to market and tell him names for household products. Also ask him to visit museums and shopping center with you.

Top Ten Tips To Manage Sibling Rivalry

A very important and the turbulent relationship among the sisters and brothers living together is called the sibling rivalry where brothers are doing everything for their mother’s attention and sister are for their father’s. This is as old as the Bible and prevalent not only in humans but in animals as well. This competition is most common among the siblings of the same age groups and remains throughout their life, no matter how old they become, though, at the same time, they also have immense feelings of affection for one another.

To prevent this rivalry, we should apply the following points:

Parents play an important role
The most important point is the behavioural attitude of the parents i.e. parents should treat them equally without being biased of someone’s age, talent or any speciality. Every child is a special one and should be treated in that way.

Do not compare your children
Never make comparisons among the siblings as it make one of them at the receiving end and make him feel low whereas the other one feels high and hyper.

Listen to their problems
Listen to your child’s angry feeling attentively and let him vent it so that he can feel free and no ill feelings and stress are left in him. If he does not let out these feelings then it would grow his anger and would ultimately make him away from you.

Give your child the privacy he needs
Every child should be given his own time and space without any compromise. This is their right and should not be deprived of that.

Try and build the bridge between both your children
Cultivate a friendly feeling in the older child for his new born sibling and make him his “mom’s assistant” with new responsibilities.

Do not neglect your elder child
As a mother, you should also play with and pay attention to your older child whenever you get time as the mother is the most precious possession of a child. This way you make your older one to understand that you belong to both of them.

Father’s should also be participative and compensate for the child’s mother
As a dad, it is your responsibility that your older child finds a friend in you because he has lost some space at mother’s front and it is you who can fill the space by spending more quality time with him which assures him of his importance.

Teach them to love each other
Basically siblings are not born as rivals but it is the treatment, meted out to them, makes them adversaries. The best way is to develop soft feelings in them for their siblings which create a sense of responsibility. The idea of family meeting creates a better understanding among the siblings and they behave more responsibly towards other siblings.

Let them solve their problems
Solve their problem in the humorous way so they, instead of fighting with one another, start having fun and forget all the differences. Also do not interfere in their issues and let them find a solution by themselves. This would also spare you from the tension of taking anyone’s side.

Teach them to work as a team
The best way to make your children understanding and loving is to teach them to work as a team. Assign them tasks in which they are bound to take the help of the other. This would help them spend quality time together and would make their bond stronger.

The aforesaid points are the certain ways which create a harmonious atmosphere at home and help the siblings diffuse their rivalry and remain standby with one another when is necessary in all weal’s and woes . And the efficient and careful handling by the parents in early times is the most required things to be done.

If your kids go to school and the summer vacations are coming to end then the best thing is to make them used to the original schedule. Around two weeks before when the school opens you can ask them to get early and follow the schedule. This will ease you when the school opens as by that time the children will be well versed with school timings and other routine work.

Nice music in the morning will make them active
If your children love music then play a few tracks in the morning to make them feel refreshed. This will give them energy and they will do their work fast.

Be prepared beforehand
The home should be properly managed so that you can find things easily. Pack the bags of the kids and arrange their bottles, bags and shoes during night only. This will save your time during the morning session when you have other things to do. Also if possible prepare his tiffin before waking him up so that you can concentrate only on getting him ready for school.

Keep it simple silly
Morning session is a crucial time so never involve in too much of cooking but prepare a simple breakfast which is healthy for your kids. Save the other dishes during the week offs. You can also go for some processed food like cornflakes and other stuff which can be easy as well as simple.

Do not wait for the final moment
First you should get ready and then make your kids ready for the school. In this way you and your kids can move on time. Do not wait for the last moment to get ready as this would increase the confusion. Moreover kids become very impatient when they are ready, so its better you get ready before him.

Make them do little jobs
Prepare your kids to keep their room tidy. Ask them to place their books as well as other stuff at the right place. Give them appreciation once they complete their work. This will boost their moral and they enjoy doing their work.

Prepare a time table for your child
You can prepare a chart which is the list of morning tasks. For example get up and brush your teeth. Have a bath and get ready for school. Comb your hair and take your breakfast from the table. These charts are useful and easily available in the market.

Early to bed and early to rise
You will have to get up early in the morning because if you are late the schedule will go wrong. So sleep on time so that you get complete sleep and get up fresh the next day. Apply the same thing for your child as well.

Do not panic
Stay cool in the morning and do not force your children to rush with all their work. This will hamper their performance and they will be slower. The mothers are the role model for their children so complete your work on time as kids will learn from you only.

Do yoga
Get up early and perform yoga. Yoga is a great stress buster and would also keep you fresh and active for the whole day to match up with the energy and tantrums of your child.

Thus if you adhere by these tips you will surely be the best mom in the world

Initial 4 to 5 years of life is the time of highest activity among children. This is the time when a child is introduced to a school, where he/she comes in contact with many other children of his/her age-group. At this stage, a child must be healthy and active enough to learn basics of studies and sports both. Both parents and teachers play a crucial role in building up the child’s personality.

Fitness comes when a kid experiences:
  • Physical health
  • Mental health
  • Self confidence
  • Healthy behavioral activities
  • Psychologically balanced mind

Active physical exercise either in the form of sport or any other play is enjoyed by the child. Mostly, during this stage children like to run, dance, swim, ride a bicycle, play football or cricket, try various musical instruments, catching a ball, hide and seek, etc.

Healthy sportsmanship under the guidance of parents/teachers. Children must be taught the rules of game and that it is not always necessary to win but to participate and to be able to play is most important.

Health drinks can also be administered to overcome the losses in the regular diet routine. Food must be presented in a form that is acceptable and enjoyed by the child. Junk foods must be avoided and in spite of that healthy food can be given in different forms to allure the child.

Parents play the most crucial role in the development of their children. 4 to 5 year olds are not masters of things they do, so parents’ vigilance is necessary. They must participate in the games that their children love to play whatsoever, because fitness of child is really important. Parents can incorporate some activities like finding things by giving clue, letting them understand various shapes and colors by analyzing things they see around them. If a child does not enjoy the games, one must try to find out things of interest and make them feel taken care of. Parents can best understand the psychology of their child so care must be taken not to let them feel abandoned or unwanted. Parents shouldn’t argue or fight among themselves in front of a child because this brings negative feeling in the child and sense of insecurity. Both parents must contribute to the healthy growth of the child which brings a sense of feeling that both parents care for the child and love him/her equally. They should be taken out regularly for a walk or play and this in turn would lead to various enquiries and curiosity which is a good learning signal.

Role of teachers:
Teachers have a major role to play in the development of a 4 to 5 year old child. They have to deal very intelligently with kids to nurture good values, mannerism, sharing habits, learning and grasping activities, personality development and self-esteem among kids.
